Ready for take-off?

PETflight is a work in progress side scrolling flight game being developed for the Commodore PET. Inspired in part by classic DOS era games like Sopwith, it brings oldschool aerial action to one of Commodore's earliest home computers.

Start on the ground, build up speed and take to the skies. Once you're airborne, you'll need to watch the terrain, avoid birds and keep an eye out for enemy aircraft coming your way. Stay alert, because the sky isn't as friendly as it looks!

Current state of development

PETflight is still in its early stages. Right now, you can accelerate down the runway, take off and fly until you crash or decide you've had enough.

There's more to come! I'm currently working on a level system, with further development planned as the project progresses.
